Imabari Towels for Lady White Company

For 120 years, Imabari has been the standard of quality for towel production in Japan. The water of the Sojagawa river is naturally gentle on the yarn, creating a natural softness on the cotton. History, tradition, and calmness are the principles for Imabari.

Various artisanal skills can be seen in the details of each towel to achieve the softness and lightness of the pile. The untwisted yarn with long fibers allows for maximum water absorbency.

Materials

Spun into a 40/1 yarn at a high speed, Imabari cotton achieves a thin towel with the lofted plush and high absorbency of a much thicker towel. Dries quickly for its next use.

Machine wash and tumble dry. May also be line-dried in the shade or sun.
